Terms of Use

Version 1.3 — Effective April 8, 2026 — Last updated: April 8, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Case Relief Now website ("Site"), creating an account, or clicking "I Accept," you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines or rules posted on the Site. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Site or create an account.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Case Relief Now, operated by Sean Hicks, an Alabama-licensed attorney ("we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Case Relief Now is a legal advertising and marketing platform. Individuals seeking legal assistance ("Consumers") submit inquiries that are routed to independent, licensed attorneys ("Attorneys") who have registered to receive inquiries through our platform. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal services of any kind.

Our platform operates as follows: Consumers submit intake forms describing their legal needs. We route these inquiries to participating Attorneys who serve the relevant geographic area and practice area. Attorneys may accept or decline inquiries. Attorneys who accept inquiries pay us a marketing fee for the lead.

After submitting an inquiry, you may check the status of your submission at any time using our Check Submission Status feature. If an attorney has not contacted you within fourteen (14) days of receiving your inquiry, you may request that your inquiry be re-sent through the status page. When you request a re-send, we reclaim the inquiry from the non-responsive attorney and re-distribute it to other participating attorneys in your area. You may request up to two (2) re-sends per submission.

We do not guarantee that any Attorney will accept your inquiry, that you will be contacted, or that any particular outcome will result from using the Site.

3. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Your use of this Site, including the submission of an intake form, does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Case Relief Now, or between you and any participating Attorney. An attorney-client relationship is only formed when you and an Attorney execute a separate, written engagement agreement.

Case Relief Now does not endorse, recommend, or vouch for the qualifications, competence, or quality of any participating Attorney. You are solely responsible for evaluating and selecting the Attorney you choose to retain.

Nothing on this Site constitutes legal advice. The educational and informational content on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a licensed attorney regarding your specific circumstances.

4. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Site or create an account. By registering for an account, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are at least 18 years old; (b) all registration information you provide is truthful, accurate, and complete; (c) you will maintain the accuracy of such information; and (d) your use of the Site does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

If you register as an Attorney, you additionally represent and warrant that you are an active, licensed member in good standing of the bar of at least one U.S. state, and that you are authorized to practice law in the jurisdictions for which you register to receive inquiries.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms.

5. Consumer Consent to Contact

By submitting an intake form, you expressly consent to be contacted by one or more participating Attorneys (or their staff) regarding your legal inquiry. This contact may occur by telephone, text message (SMS/MMS), or email using the contact information you provide, including through the use of automated dialing systems or prerecorded messages, consistent with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable state laws.

You understand and agree that: (a) your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services; (b) message and data rates may apply; (c) you may receive more than one contact from more than one Attorney; and (d) you may revoke your consent at any time by emailing us at privacy@casereliefnow.com or by following the opt-out instructions provided in any communication you receive.

Your inquiry and the personal information you provide may be shared with up to three (3) participating Attorneys who serve your area and practice type. Participating Attorneys pay a marketing fee to receive these inquiries. For full details on how your information is collected, used, and shared, please review our Privacy Policy.

6. Attorney Obligations

Attorneys who register on the Site agree to: (a) respond to accepted inquiries in a timely and professional manner consistent with applicable rules of professional conduct; (b) maintain accurate registration information, including active bar status and jurisdictions served; (c) comply with all applicable laws, rules of professional conduct, and ethical obligations governing attorney advertising and solicitation in their jurisdictions; and (d) pay all marketing fees when due.

Attorneys acknowledge that Case Relief Now is a marketing platform and that all advertising content and client communications must comply with their respective state bar rules. Attorneys are solely responsible for ensuring their participation in this platform complies with all applicable ethical rules.

Attorneys agree to promptly deregister from any jurisdiction in the event they are no longer authorized to practice law there, whether due to suspension, disbarment, voluntary resignation, lapse of licensure, or any other reason. Failure to deregister from a jurisdiction in which the Attorney is no longer authorized to practice constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of any prepaid fees. Attorneys are solely responsible for monitoring the status of their bar admissions and ensuring their registered jurisdictions on the platform accurately reflect their current licensure at all times.

7. Fees and Billing

Consumers are not charged any fees for using the Site or submitting intake forms.

Attorneys pay marketing fees for accepted leads as described in their service agreement and dashboard. Fee amounts, billing cycles, and payment terms are set forth in the Attorney's account settings and may be updated from time to time. Attorneys agree to pay all fees when due. Unpaid fees may result in account suspension.

All fees are non-refundable except as follows: (a) as expressly provided in our billing dispute policy, accessible through the Attorney dashboard; or (b) when a lead is reclaimed through our re-send process because the Attorney failed to contact the Consumer within seven (7) days. In the event of a reclamation, a full refund of the marketing fee for that lead will be initiated automatically. Attorneys will be notified by email when a lead is reclaimed.

Attorneys may request a withdrawal of their unused prepaid balance at any time through the Account section of their dashboard. A processing fee of three percent (3%) of the withdrawal amount will be deducted to cover payment processing costs. Withdrawal requests are subject to administrative review and will be processed within two (2) business days of approval. Approved withdrawals are refunded to the original payment method(s) used to fund the balance, net of the processing fee. Refunds may take five (5) to ten (10) business days to appear on the Attorney's statement after processing, depending on the payment provider. If the original payment method is no longer valid, we will work with the Attorney to arrange an alternative refund method. We reserve the right to deduct any outstanding fees, disputed amounts, or other obligations owed to Case Relief Now before processing a withdrawal.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, design elements, software, and the compilation thereof — is the property of Case Relief Now or its content suppliers and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from this Site without our prior written consent, except as necessary for your personal, non-commercial use of the Site's services.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law; (b) submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any intake form or registration; (c) impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation; (d) interfere with, disrupt, or place an undue burden on the Site or its infrastructure; (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, other accounts, or systems connected to the Site; (f) use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Site; (g) harvest or collect personal information of other users; or (h) use the Site to transmit spam, chain letters, or other unsolicited communications.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, SERVICES, AND FEATURES AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) THE SITE WILL BE AVAILABLE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; (B) ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED ON THE SITE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT; (C) ANY ATTORNEY WILL ACCEPT YOUR INQUIRY OR CONTACT YOU; (D) ANY ATTORNEY AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SITE IS QUALIFIED, COMPETENT, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR LEGAL NEEDS; OR (E) ANY PARTICULAR LEGAL OUTCOME WILL RESULT FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CASE RELIEF NOW, ITS OWNER, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Case Relief Now, its owner, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of or access to the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property, privacy, or proprietary right; (d) any content or information you submit through the Site; or (e) your negligence or willful misconduct.

13. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY — IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.

You and Case Relief Now agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site ("Dispute") shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (for Consumers) or Commercial Arbitration Rules (for Attorneys), as applicable.

You and Case Relief Now each waive the right to a trial by jury and the right to participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding. You may only bring claims in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative action.

The arbitration shall take place in Jefferson County, Alabama, or at another mutually agreed-upon location. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Opt-Out Right: You may opt out of this arbitration provision by sending written notice to privacy@casereliefnow.com within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, address, email, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of the arbitration provision. If you opt out, you and Case Relief Now agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Jefferson County, Alabama.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within the court's jurisdictional limits.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and any Dispute shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. To the extent that arbitration does not apply, you agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Jefferson County, Alabama.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Site at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. Upon termination, your right to use the Site ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to Sections 3, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 17.

16. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We provide these links for convenience only and do not endorse or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. You access third-party sites at your own risk.

17. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. If the class action waiver in Section 13 is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of the arbitration provision shall be deemed void (but all other Terms remain in effect).

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision or of the right to enforce it at a later time.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or agreements published by us on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and Case Relief Now regarding your use of the Site and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings.
